THE MAGIC OF MEILING - CROSSING THE LINE
I am thrilled to announce that my proposal to exhibit at SL8B was accepted and my team has set up a wonderful display based on the article written in the May issue of BOSL Magazine. I invite you to visit this display titled THE MAGIC OF MEILING - CROSSING THE LINE

The Magic Of Meiling - Crossing the Line at SL8B takes the visitor through the creation process of an outfit in her latest collection called Grand Riviere which just premiered at Caribbean Fashion Week 2011.
We not only see photographs of the outfit made in RL and a fitting with a RL model, but also the parallel production in SL of the Meiling Couturier avatar creating and preparing the prims.
It is an exhibition which reveals the magic behind the creative genius of the RL designs and the superb technical execution of the SL renditions.

Hurry Curry Tunic Suit
Shown at MEILING's most recent RL collection in February 2011, this Indian inspired tunic top is made in the lightest of voiles. The bright saffron colours play off against deep coral hues to create a sophisticated yet casual ensemble, perfect for summer.
Always versatile, the tunic suit has two lengths AV skirt layers and modifiable pants/underpants so you can be as playful as you like.
It is finished off with french cuffs and a prim collar which even has shadows under the lapels!

MEILING new releases 6.5 .2011
Three new releases which are perfect for romantic summer evenings.
M - Tea on the Verandah
...is a pretty dress, demure and very sexy at the same time. It features a floral print in a profuse of English garden colours at the front and then... a delightful surprise in the back of white voile with the most delicate rose flowers.
M - Lovely in Lilac
...is an edgy combination of a classic empire line dress with flowing layers coupled with raw edged flowers and pastel tweed print. Only MEILING can pull this off RL and SL.
M- Pressed Flowers Gown
The gown is a replica of a show stopper for a collection at Caribbean Fashion Week.
It features a versatile linen jacket in the softest hues of coral and a stunning cotton voile sculpted and flexy skirt dip-dyed in tea.

We were very happy to meet Laura at an informal ceremony at the MEILING Couture Store. She was even lovelier in person and very graciously accepted the awards and posed for photos.
